My Story

Hello: My Name is Silvia.

I completed my doula training through Dona International.

I’m a Birth and Postpartum Doula. A Certified Childbirth and Lactation Specialist. I am excited to provide my community with 18 years of experience in Prenatal, Birth, Postpartum, and Lactation education services to The Central Valley! I have a passion for supporting the birthing parent and families through prenatal, labor/delivery and the newborn Milestone. I am a mother of five amazing kids. I Breastfeed my last child for 3 years. Through the years I have gained knowledge and experience which I am ready to share with others as they expand their families. I aim to bring a calm and steady tranquil atmosphere for my clients and their partners as I offer Physical, Emotional, and Informational Support. I offer a Positive atmosphere and Promote Self-Advocacy. These are the 5 main facets of being a Certified Dona International Doula. As your Doula, I will listen to your questions and guide you through any concerns and or fears, together we will create a plan to give you the best support for the best possible outcome! 

I look forward to aiding families in having a positive birth! I aim to support families here in the Central Valley and Surrounding Locations.

I'm a mother of 5 who had her struggles during a (Twin) pregnancy and at the time of delivery. I did not have a good support system and was not able to say no to others who pushed their way into the delivery room. Feeling overwhelmed. I promised myself that I would work hard to bring a better support system to the birthing parent. As I noticed that in our community, we didn't have a lot of support for Our Prenatal and Birthing parents. My passion for helping myself and others brought me to expand my knowledge and become a doula to be able to help other moms not feel alone and overwhelmed and guide them to have a positive labor experience.
